In a few words
500 students will be on hand to discuss literary adaptation in series, this year focusing on GERMINAL, created by Julien Lilti, directed by David Hourrègue, based on the novel by Emile Zola, and broadcast on France 2*.
The Département des Bouches-du-Rhône will be putting a teaching pack online on its secure platform, enabling teachers in the département’s secondary schools to create their own screening/debate in the classroom. The episode and file will be available all year round.

Synopsis
Inspired by real events, Unsilenced is a 6 episodes story of a newly elected President with rumors of sexual assault and rape of a staffer named Oshrat swirling around him. His top advisor Avinoam realizes that if news of this leaks out, the scandal could destroy the President’s career and his own. Yet more women are stepping forward to corroborate Oshrat’s account. Will this lead to the conviction of the man seated in the highest office in the country?

Synopsis
Based on the iconic Leaphorn & Chee book series by Tony Hillerman, this noir thriller is set in 1971 on a remote outpost of the Navajo Nation near Monument Valley in the American Southwest.
Dark Winds follows Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn of the Tribal Police as he is besieged by a series of seemingly unrelated crimes. The closer he digs to the truth, the more he exposes the wounds of his past. He is joined on this journey by his new deputy, Jim Chee. Chee, too, has old scores to settle from his youth on the reservation. Together, the two men battle the forces of evil, each other and their own personal demons on the path to salvation.

Synopsis
